In one commercial, a man stuffs a Brobdingnagian plateful of grass in his mouth after a voice-over says, rally rains carry excess lawn fertilizers through our sewers and rivers and into the Chesapeake utter, where the blue crab harvest has been passing low. So skip the fertilizer until fall, because once theyre gone, whats go forth to enjoy?(Environment, p. 7)This ad is directed to many people in the Chesapeake bay region because there are tons of pollution each twelvemonth that are destroying the nations largest estuary, or stir up of a clay of water where the fresh and salt water mix, and are also putting to death the Bays crabs, oysters, and fish, which is a huge industry in the discipline and also something the state of Maryland is known nationally for (Environment, p. 8). Pollutio n is destroying the Chesapeake Bay each single day, however now people are winning steps in the right direction to fix this problem entirely many people fear that time has run out.The amazing part about the steps being taken to try to save the Chesapeake Bay is how much scientists and people who carry out legislation in the local anesthetic and state governments are working together to try and create policies on businesses and people tocut back on the problems in the Bay. Scientists have accustomed an unthinkable amount of attention to the Bay of the past several historic period and researchers from countless numbers of agencies and institutions have dove deep into the issues and studying every nook and cranny to create answers to every politicians questions. The biggest concern with the Bay, and the most grueling ... ...us estimates about what a proper cleanup would cost from $1 gazillion to $30 billion, with most estimates hovering around $15 billion. That is a lot of mone y. To go as far as bumper stickers and billboards just might be besides much for the public to handle though. The Chesapeake Bays slogan of turn in the Bay is on everything they produce. I would never call a soundbox of water dead especially one that has been so instrumental to the developing of this area.
